Industrialization is essential for economic prosperity of the nation .Since ancient times the people of Nepal are involved in industrial activities.Such activities were carried on a small scale by using indigenous technology,to fulfill their own needs. But the institutional has a short history. Biratnagar Jute Mill, which was established as a joint venture industry in 1993 B.S., is considered the first institutional industry of Nepal.During the first five year plan, many industries were established under private investment like sugar,textile,jute,paper,soap,ricemill industries etc.
Nepal is just developing country and concept of business has just been started.Business in Nepal is good concept but many things has to be done to get the best.In Nepal there is few people who are involve in business. Here is needed a people who have skilled and knowledge of business. Business in Nepal is vege concept.If Nepal has got the qualified person then it can increase its business scope .
However ,in 1990,the government enacted economic liberalization policy and started to privatize public enterprises.Many industries and companies were established under the joint venture of Nepalese entrepreneurs and foreign investors in different sectors like banking and financial institutions, cigarette,cement,textile,hotel,tourism etc.
